Sheer entertainment value, what do y'all think about the show? I just stated to watch it and it has been ok so far. I have it playing in the background so I'm not 100% focused on it.

Them sticking the female character in season 2 didn't work for me. She disrupted what made season 1 good which was about the team and their regular lives. I didn't even finish season 2.
One thing I noticed that they sure do love suppressors on the show. Kudos to the weapons/prop master or whatever his name is. EVERYONE has a can.
NO! Beards are not optional. This is what separates SF from other Special Operations units. We live with the indigenous fighters. Beards are an incredibly important part of the Afghan culture. A man without a beard and a gun is not taken seriously. This is why PC culture in the US will end up degrading the SF mission when you insist on having female SF soldiers. A female SF soldier may be the most competent, strongest, smartest member of the team, but without a beard they cannot lead indig fighters. The importance of respecting the native culture is even shown in the movie "12 Strong" when the Afghan leader only wants to talk to the Team Tech, because he is older than the Team Leader.

Absolutely. The living and bonding with indigenous forces has been a hallmark of SF since Vietnam and has always been derided by the regular Army as "going native".
Just finished the second season. Would have been interesting to see the story develop some more for season 3.
