Movie Theater SIX (History Channel)

It's not awful, but it's kind of like "The Shield" meets "The Unit".
More entertaining than MSNBC and slightly less direct on the liberal bias.

I've been watching it. I was really hoping the entire season isn't trying to save Rip but it looks like it is. I've started to like the characters but DAMN, those "wives" are bitches. Seems like they're trying too hard to build tension at home for the team.

I've been watching it form the beginning. it's entertaining but the main character (Rip) just doesn't do it for me. Seems so far off from a real seal. and yes, all the wives are pretty hot!

I'm liking the show as it's pretty much the only entertainment I get with my crappy set of channels here. The "Team" seems to not work like how I saw them back in the day. Meaning if there was that much dissention, some people would be gone (reassigned). Shooting what's his faces brother was dumb. Most any team leader type I've known would have had both of them in there for intel purposes, Not point blank blowing him away. Had a team leader gotten to that point, somebody would've seen it and he would not have been out there. It may have changed from my day, though.

And to clarify, I was in the Army Rangers. So, not a SEAL. Just what I saw of them. The other interesting show is the documentary that comes on two hours before SIX. That is interesting.

What did everyone think of the season finale? I did not expect the girl to come out of the woodwork on the pier. I thought everything else was okay. I didn't understand the big fight scene with Rip and Muttaki. They should have let Rip just kick his ass and moved on.

And Bear's wife... Bitch... Saw that coming.

As the finale goes...He had to die..it was a surprise HOWEVER, as to HOW he died.
I thought he would, after he left the party, drive his car off a pier or into a tree..
He would have spent life in the Federal Pen. or Suicide as the only options available..the Navy would have crucified him..so all in all it was a good story.

I'm curious on season two as well. I'd hope that one entire season isnt spent on a single character rescue. It'd be nice to have maybe some ops overlap in episodes and the main character back stories but I didn't like the entire season being about rescuing one person (essentially, not including the women hostages.)

Like Top Gun. Completely over the top. Anyone I ever worked with who created such angst was gone in a heartbeat. Even if you have to promote them out, OUT is the operative (poor word choice) word.

God bless America

I saw the finale. The girl killing him on the pier was a surprise. The scene with the commander opened up a loose tie in that I had assumed Rip was ousted because of killing the American jihadi. In my mind I'm going no way the fuzzy headed guy was going to still be in that team, as I thought he wrote a report on it. Then come to find out the command knew nothing of it.

Anyhow, Bear's wife with all her morals at least went to stay with her mom/sister? Can't remember, exactly. At least she didn't go hop in the sack with someone....yet.
