SLR Gas Block Set Screw?

They will take care of you. Wouldn't doubt it if they just send you a you new block.
Question is htf did you lose it? Were you on the ragged edge of having it almost all the way out?

Man I hope so, ruined my weekend and I could not thermal hunt. As for how, long story, but yes it was essentially back all the way out and the gun was shot and the screw came out and was lost.
Supressed? What caliber? If it needed that much gas I'm wondering if your block wasn't lined up with the gas port. I'm usually almost all the way screwed in with a can on
Send them an email and they will send you a set of repaclement parts. This happened to me and they sent me multiples for free. I can't recall the owner's name, but he has always been extremely helpful to me. Some of the best customer service I've found in the gun industry.

...and yes, SLR has STELLAR Customer Service in MY personal experience, have been a SLR user/customer since the 1st generation of their gas blocks and handguards....
Pardon my ignorance, but is this set screw some odd proprietary design/ thread pitch that cannot be found in most any well stocked hardware store?
...the OP is referring to the gas adjustment screw that controls the amount of gas allowed into the gas tube.... it has four grooves machined lengthwise into it's threads to allow for the detent to settle into (the 'clicks'). The OP is not referring to the two set screws on the underside that secure it onto the barrel.
I understood it was the gas adj screw, just not that familiar with the various designs. Some of the more simple ones use plain old dog point set screws.
