Yes. Mine is nickel and a shooter. But very comfortable, accurate and nice to shoot. Great ergonomics and a pleasure to look at.

Talk to @pmclaine as he is a fan of these too.

Except for collector grades, they are priced right these days. By all means own one!!!

Yep, ergonomically probably one of the nicest feeling pistols in hand.

Beautiful guns, well built, reliable, stout. The Navy Seal teams used to use a suppressed version they called a “hush puppy.” Got to handle one many, many years ago in a team armory (I’m sure that doesn’t happen anymore!).
Later on I carried the double stack 659 in a galco Miami rig when I used to ride. Damn gun was a brick, but you could beat your way out of a Sumo wrestler bar and the gun would still function!
