Sniper Target

Not sure if this is the right place to post but here goes. I am looking at two sniper targets, one from Larue Tactical the RTG1 and another from MGM Targets the Recon Target. One uses compressed air and the other is battery driven. Both are about the same price. The Larue Target being upgradable to a radio control system.

I was wondering if anyone had experience with either. I have experience with both companies and their service is excellent.

I've handled the LaRue Sniper Target and it's heavy, requires relatively even ground to operate, and it didn't do anything better than the other steel targets did. In fact I found it quite annoying that I had to wait for it to raise back up every time I hit it. For the cost of a LaRue Sniper Target you can get a good collection of steel, chain/belt/firehose, and stands that will serve just as well in my opinion.

For the cost of one target you can get a life time of premium AR500 steel to set up an entire range out to 1000 yards.
