I got an email that I was quoted in a post, so I went to that post to view and comment and that person's comment was not there?

I got an email that I had a new PM, I go to my inbox and the message is not there?

not sure what is going on here..

As to the post quote...if you were quoted by a "new" (or relatively new) member with few or no posts, then it is possible that their post in pending approval from LL. I had the same thing happen to be a week or two ago...went to the thread in question to respond...no post on which to respond. About 8-10hrs later...the post showed up once it was approved by LL. No biggie...not sure if that's your issue or not, but its a possibility.

As for the "missing" PM...not sure on that one. Are you sure you are: 1) sorting PM's by newest first so that the new show up at the top of your PM inbox; 2) aren't over your PM limit; and/or 3) didn't accidentally kill the new PM by mistake? Again...just throwing ideas out there...no idea if I'm even in the ballpark on the PM issue.

thanks for the help ORD, you were right on the new member post being approved later.

as for the missing PM, it was actually an email sent to me not a PM. I didn't even know they could do that and at 2am on my iPhone it looked like all the rest of my emails telling me I had a PM.
