I am beginning to think Snowden needs to be welcomed home as the only whistle blower that is worthy. Wikileaks has and hopefully will continue providing a public service, I hope they release the 30k emails from Hilary's server.

I've always held him in high regard, too. Too bad both of the political swamp parties are angling to frame him for treason. The average citizen of this country still choses to remain oblivious to how much of the foundations of a police state have been put in place by our uncontrolled alphabet agencies.

First, Wikileaks is a total different animal, that was started by an AUSTRAILIAN citizen (who the US also wants for "treason"). His first expose of the US government's secrets was his hacking of milnet in the 80's where he discovered we were preparing to invade Iraq due to massive shipments OF: Coca Cola. And other junk food.
Snowden is a US citizen and patriot who pissed off the secret state/totalitarian fuckers by exposing their secrets.
When our government becomes afraid of it's citizens, then I say that's the time to overthrow them and that's what the US Constitution and the founding fathers had in mind too. Ball's in their court now but I don't think they have too many more moves to flounder.
You know which crooked politician is doing what because of the "tattletale" effect. They have everything to win and nothing to lose by exposing their opposition's schemes. So whatever criminal shit one side is claiming is probably true, as is the same for the other side. Neither have clean hands, both are a detriment to democracy and freedom.
Problem is both are at fault and both need to be removed from power as they are treating our country like a precious toy at a playground and all the five year olds are fighting over it and only one outcome is possible if it's not stopped: the precious will be broken. If you are a representative or senator and you put your party before your state and it's constituents, you are WRONG and furthermore, a fucking criminal and a knife in the heart of all this country has claimed to stand for.

I think alot of Americans suffer from that Conundrum. Snowden, as well as Assange released so much documentation/information that not only exposed American politician's dirty dealings, but a great deal of military secrets as well. It has been stated many, many times that that information cost Military lives. That is where I have a problem with what they have done.
Conversely, I welcome with open arms, the revelations provided by the release of information related to political dirty dealings. I think every last document from any government employee or politician, however trivial, should be immediately available for public scrutiny with no exceptions. To me, it is obvious that the more obfuscation that takes place, the more secrets are being hidden and not only the American public, but the world is getting screwed harder and harder.

Problem is government will always say "it cost military lives" or "we're only doing this to protect you", "one has to do dirty things" etc... It's an excuse and bullshit and it has never been a problem that .govs keep secrets and do nasty stuff problem is that it has gone beyond any reasonable sense and its not directed against enemies and external foe but is used to control population, control politicians and to pervert political system where those who should represent are puppets for people to foam over and real rulers are pulling strings behind the curtain.
What I am seriously looking forward to is the software technology (in specific Substratum.net) that's going to completely upend the entire friggen internet by completely decentralizing it. In other words a little like how Peer 2 Peer worked but in that computers, phones, devices can all sign up to become content servers --the result of which it will be IMPOSSIBLE for governments, big businesses to censor speech at all! Places like China, Iran and Google and Yahoo and Apple and YouTube won't / can't censor sh*t anymore. And those who sign up to become a node will earn crupto currency called SUB that can be turned into $$$. Yeehaa. I refuse to own a TV, so no didn't catch that. I think Subtratum is about a month away from final release. And there's 2 other companies doing somewhat the same thing. So things could get pretty interesting here in the not too distant future. China and Iran will com un-friggen-guled for sure.
