Many of you may know us, as we have been a Hide supporter for years. I started Snyder Precision LLC as a college student in my dorm, and it has bloomed into a full gun store and gunsmithing shop. Your support has helped us get to where we are.
Snyder Shooting Supply is now offering a full line up of gunsmithing services, but modern and traditional. We are happy to offer mail-in work as well as local service. We also have a dealer program, so if you are a dealer or gunsmith that doesn't offer some of the services we offer, we can help you out.
Full Service list -
- Chambering and Threading - I, Chris, personally chamber and thread every barrel that comes through the door. We stock a number of Proof, Bartlien, Krieger, and Ballistic Advantage blanks, but we are happy to take yours in or order one for you.
- Bedding
- Barrel Channel Inletting
- Custom Fit Recoil pads - We use grind to fit recoil pads. We can modify your stock if needed to fit your LOP, and install a custom fit recoil pad. Our recoil pads don't show grind lines, and are fit perfectly to the geometry of your stock. We can also install Graco recoil systems and do leather wrapped pads.
- Hot Bluing - We do traditional hot bluing. We can bring your old gun back to life. We have specialty methods that allow us to preserve most of the factory engraving. Finish option include matte, satin, satin plus, and high polish.
- Anodizing
- Certified Cerakote application - We are Lincoln's only factory trained and Certified cerakote facility. With four talented certified applicators on staff, we can make your dreams come true.
- Wood Refinishing - We can completely refinish your wood stocks. While we don't offer checkering, we can clean up your current checkering and refinish the wood entirely. We prefer a traditional and rubbed oil finish, but we can do whatever needs to be done to suite your needs.
