20 years is plenty of time to APPLY and become a LEGAL citizen.
We need mass deportations but don't have a mechanism for it especially with every judge and most of the states fighting against them.
That is how I see it. If we need migrant workers the government should set up visa programs, vet them and keep track of them. If they over stay or break the law they are gone permanently.
