I was a little bored in the shop last night and it drives me nuts when my Kestrel is just laying around when shooting so I took a spare piece of scrap Kydex and made this to hold it

Good idea, should reduce the opportunity to have your Kestrel kicked, stepped on, covered in dirt, stolen, Copenhagen spit applied to it, having other stuff dropped on it, and it is handy for those weather checks. Nice job

I would recommend a possible rev two that would allow it to be positions such that the wind meter can function while it is mounted. Maybe something that is mounted at a 90 degree angle to the leg and that mounts to the center upright on your tripod there rather then one of the legs.
