Kicking Ass Somewhere
Installed the newish Super Sniper scope on my 300 WSM, took 10 shots trying to zero it in, thinking yeah ths scope can handle 50 cals no problem. Well got the elevation adjusted no problem, started getting the azimuth adjusted and the thing stopped clicking and reticule stopped moving. Is this something I scan fix myself or do I have to send it in to get repaired? One other thing, I have a second SS, so I am wondering if anyone had something like this happen to them? Thanks for any input .

This reply may be helpful or useless, I don't know what you've tried or your expertise level, but... I got a SWFA SS scope with a used gun last year. The turrets wouldn't adjust anything and I assumed at the time it was broken. Before I contacted SWFA, I tried the set screws that hold the outer turrets onto the actual adjustment mechanism, and found that they were just loose. The turret was spinning around in place. I tightened the set screws and the scope worked properly. It takes 30 seconds to check this possibility.
