So perhaps some of you legal beagles who know more about law than I do can comment....

But if the Muller probe is based on the amusingly-fake Trump Dossier... isn't everything turned up, technically, fruit of the poisonous tree? And thereby the whole investigation is illegitimate?

I mean... most of us know that the whole thing is illegitimate and politically-motivated and BS. But if it went to SCOTUS.... wouldn't it all be tossed because the the whole basis is Bullshit? Pardon my French.

But this Soooooo looks like The Swamp in its death throes.... But maybe I'm just a right-wing nutball????

You are definitely not a nutball. Unfortunately the charges will not be fruit of a poison tree. They will have some plausible alternative for how they got the information, that does not depend on the faked up dossier.

I have no legal education, so I won't make an idiot of myself there....

I wish you were right about death throes. However, one thing I have learned (over more years than I'd like to admit or accept) is that these cockroaches will never give up. I'm reminded of the saying "The price of freedom is eternal vigilance". They will never give up. Just look at their conduct of perpetual hubris. It is unbelievable the lies they tell and continue to do so.

With the latest revelations (actually, old news) coming out at a snails pace in the media about Fusion GPS, Uranium One, etc., I think the whole Trump/Russia thing is just going to quietly go away. I think all the turds in DC will just end up striking back room deals where the Trump investigation gets staked, in return for no further action on those subjects that are potentially damaging to Billary/Obama/DNC/Libs. That's if it hasn't happened already. We, the general public, will have to endure more bullshit excuses, letting the guilty off the hook via thinly veiled BS.

In an ideal world, there would be justice, ala Ceaucescu, but I'm not going to hold my breath. Nothing would delight me more than to see Billary perp walking, but I think that's a longshot at best. I'd like to be wrong on that one. I am also very impressed with Trump's resolve. I cannot imagine having to live under those pressures. He's not a blinker.....

Its based upon the SWAMP attempting a coup and undoing an election. Its a slow fuse start of the next revolution. Simple. The law does not matter to the lawless so asking a lawyer for their opinion is the same as asking Al Capone about the the income tax. They are most likely lawless themselves and are part of the problem. And that is my optimistic view.

Well, Tony Podesta just resigned from the Podesta firm over this Manafort and the other guy shit who were laundering money while working for that firm.

I'd say there's a chance of some sort for the whole thing to go sideways and fall over on the folks who started this shit in the first place.

Since it is all largely a continuation of the same smoke and mirror bullshit that has gotten us to where we are at this late stage of the American Empire; since the FED still hasn't been audited (let alone had its very existence challenged); since the MIC is still large and in charge; since the biggest crooks continue to walk free, while the public focuses on who is taking a knee, the casting couch in Hollywood, random acts of terror, and feelz - at what point do folks begin to ask themselves if have they been con'ed by the Orange Hustler, or is he really just out numbered and out positioned to the point where he is incapable of revealing the real demons and dirty deeds done in the swamp?

The Trump Dossier is not a poisonous tree if its creation leads to Dems. It is the basis of Mueller's investigation turning on the Dems. Why does Pelosi want an Independent investigation now? Because she knows whats coming and wants to slow the investigation down until the Dems can hopefully take control in 2018 and bury it. She knows that if Mueller continues the Dems will be Decimated in 2018.

The other question is The FBI dirty or were they just soiled and restricted by Dem administrations?

Not a Lawyer and just adding my speculation to the mix.

Unless they rewrite or ignore the constitution, even if they get "the orange hustler", the succession line is Pence, Paul Ryan, Senator Hatch, Rex Tillerson..... can the investigation get all these people ? Just a thought....

They're out to get Trump. We shouldn't fool ourselves thinking it's anything else. They'll drag this out to use it to beat Trump over the head with in '20, assuming he makes it that long. And they'd be just fine with Pence or Ryan or whoever the Dems drag out in '20. They want their man back in the whitehouse and they don't care if he's got a D or R by his name.

There is only one way outta this for them and that is to get rid of Pres Trump, one way or another. They are endangering my country. They are endangering my country. Trump will not go quietly into the night, like that manhattan democrat or not he is a fighter, and from all appearances he seems to be pretty honest and clean or he would have been impeached by the repubs already. I am glad I am alive to watch the implosion of that monolith.

Well.My dislike for his back tracking on DACA, enforcing the law and deporting all goddam illegals, his going along with paying legal and illegal immigrants government benefits really pisses me off, if he does not get rid of the illegals he devalued the worth of my citizenship and I will lump him in with Obama Clinton and the Bushes. That being said he is the vehicle that will bring down DC and the MSM. I despise with all my heart and being, my life, Unconstitutional Government and the people in it, Waiting for the 4th when the left goes full on violent and berserk like they promised that will be game on.

Mueller and Rosenstein were involved in covering up the Uranium One scandal, and they will continue to cover it up.

Podesta engaged in the same type of lobbying and asset hiding in conjunction with Manafort, but Podesta will not be charged because he is a Dem.

Trump should have fired Rosenstein, Sessions and Mueller the day special counsel was appointed.

Trump can still get rid of them by appointing a new special counsel to investigate Uranium One including the govt officials who covered it up and who willfully failed to prosecute the bribery (Mueller and Rosenstein). That would end this farce.

Trump is running a diversion Campaign for Mueller. Mueller and Rosenstein were ordered by Obama to squash Uranium One. Justice takes time, but it will come I hope. They say the Popadop guy may have worn a wire. If he and Manifort were plants by the Dems and that wire was to get Podesta. It was not Manifort's arrest that scared Podesta It was finding out popadop was working for months for Mueller. and Podesta knows he has been talking to him. Mueller released that to say hey Tony come lie to me now or lets make a deal.

This is the only thing that makes sense other than they are all just dirty. So I hope I am right but will not be surprised one bit if I am not. Once again just blind speculation.
