The Dems/Socialist have been playing the long game for nearly fifty plus years . They keep taking ground and eroding individual liberties and rights .
They tread on the Constitution with open contempt and arrogance . They have steadily eroded our 2A rights . They have attacked family , education , race and religion . They've driven God from schools . So knowing the desired outcome and the road and distance traveled how does this end ?
There are some profoundly intelligent individuala here . Calm , discerning , effectively calculating individuals . Men I respect and greatly admire . And yet I am confused and puzzled when I read their retorts to have patience and see how this wrings out . I believe that the vast majority of Americans despise our current state of affairs yet the Socialist go on without fear of accountabilty , completely unchecked . I am asking what do those that I admire knoq that I don't or at leat what is their reasoning ? Where is the line ?

We haven't seen the whites of their eyes yet, Alpha. Bide your time, respect the law, and stay frosty.

    Strictly intelligent discourse .
Edit and curious of individual beliefs . I mean either way I see a bad outcome .
Complete Socialism with elitist on one side and the destitute on the other or Civil War . The Republicans do not enforce rule of law and the Dems do as they fuckin please .
Scratch that discourse . I am really trying to process this crap .

Considering the cabal that is on board what what you described electing Trump was a large poke in their eye.
We have been witness to their less than hidden reactions from in the country and beyond.
    Will the pendulum swing back?
    Yet to be seen.
The opposition is willing to do most anything to achieve the control they desire.
Something I came to a conclusion a while ago, it's very hard to create a one world government with a USA of the semi current variety.
In my opinion taking the high road is part of the problem of how we got here.
Our opponent is devious/smart enough to know what are our weaknesses.
I'm of the mind that until we get past the worry of looking "bad" in the media we'll continue to loose ground.
It's been my experience that they'll twist the story no matter what we do or don't.
I'll bet by the time we have a conscensus on this board of the time to raise the flag and slit throats, we'll be late to the party.
This next year will be interesting...

Our OP is strictly NITS right now, like a lot of us are.

Time to just chillax, and calmly review what you have, what you need, and whatever chores that you need to do to make sure that you bridge the distance between current status quo and the unknown.

And since the unknown is, well, unknown, don't sweat the drama too, too much. It just takes away from dotting your Is and crossing your Ts.

You know your basics, right? Cover them, and then think about finer points and alternatives.

Until then, breathe, and try not to buy into the provocation.

So what you're saying is, I need to show my pool some love this weekend? I think the pH is a little low, and this rain coming through is gonna add some phosphates.

    :p

(y)(y)(y). Be Smart. They have been. We must figure out the Long Game and implement it.

Long game? I think that train departed the station a few years before Obama took office.

Think short to medium term. There's no way that this incoming House is not gonna take the fight to us, and I mean FIGHT.

Look for an attempt to gut the Constitution, especially 2A.

Meanwhile "they" are in the planning phase........

Respectfully disagree. Their planning is for the most part, complete. It has been in the works for decades. They are in the implementation phase.

Most importantly, we need to be thinking well beyond Trump. He has only been a temporary respite against the erosion of some of our rights. He could very well be gone in two years and there could be a lib President, Congress and Senate after that. Strategy is necessary now (actually, yesterday) and must make sure that Conservatives do not lose the hearts and minds of the general populace. Violent response will cause that loss.

It might be faster to just piss in it if it's a matter of its pH.

It's not. Much like hand-loading for purpose, pool maintenance is a delicate process. Pissing in the pool is like getting oil in your powder. Depending on quantity and attention to detail, you may not notice, or your shit may hang-fire, or not fire at all.

Well sir I’m here to put your mind at ease. Your seeing the conclusion that was written thousands of years ago. Revelation 11:15

The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said: "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah, and he will reign for ever and ever."

You weren't really talking about your pool back there, were you?

OK, please provide constructive suggestions as to how to counter that (?). As much as I hate to say it, I'm not in disagreement with you. You're not wrong.

I saw a post earlier today and I don't remember who it was from, but the OP basically said "2 years of Republican controlled Presidency, House and Senate and what do we have to show for it ? HPA ?, Reciprocity ?, anything ?"

Well thank you kindly, Mr. Bulldog. It isn't often that somebody drops a Jack Chick tract in front of me. Hell, I admire your balls.

I probably wont even vote anymore. The longer we keep dragging this along via the "ballot box", the more and more they chip away at our rights. Before long, we wont even be able to breath without paying a tax. Fuck it. Let the most crazed liberal socialist into the white house. Maybe that will get patriots riled up enough to fucking do something about it.

Voting doesnt really work. If it did, it would be illegal. All voting does is pacify people.

The sooner we get Hillary, the sooner we the people can fix this country right.

Something to consider about this discussion.
Watch what happens in France in the next few weeks.
I'll wager Macron will receive help from exterior "authorities".
The most dangerous game they can't afford, the indigenous folks standing up to the overlord's rule.

The Three Branches are in place to keep each other in check, in regards to following the Constitution and laws that allow the functioning of the country. The problem is they are all in bed with each other to make each and everyone of them rich. Our taxes are automatically removed from our pay, so the money will always be there from the working class.

The 2nd Amendment is a tangible right. As it can be manipulated and picked away at, physically. Both sides of the aisle know this and have riled up both citizen sides, because they know that We will buy guns, ammo, send money to the NRA, GOA, etc... And they know that They will send money to Mothers Against, etc.... All of which they have their hands in. One way or another.

That is just the tip of the iceberg as to how the government is getting rich off of playing both sides. I don’t have the time or patients to dissertate on all the details. Keep your eyes open, educated and forever skeptical, and the obvious will be just that, obvious.

I was thinking about these red flag laws and how they directly violate the BOR, 2A and 5A specifically. And nobody is able to do anything about it because they represent their parties interest and not their constituency. They're bought out.

Like I've said, we need to:

Unplug the money from politics. They need to work for us. Any political donations go through one place and it's divvied up accordingly, evenly to those that run. FCC can make it so a certain number of political ads don't cost anything during election season. These PACs and SuperPACs? Gone. Lobbyists? Gone. We are the only lobbyists they need concern themselves with.

Hold them accountable. When they commit a crime, they're treated like everyone else. They get to experience the same prison system they wanted so bad. No special treatment. Campaign promises that turn out to be lies will be dealt with too. Bait and switch? Gone. When they use taxpayer money to go somewhere or do something, it needs to be confirmed this is in the interest of their district or state, and it needn't cost a fortune or require an entourage.

What's good for goose is good for gander: They get paid an amount determined by the state. This voting for their own exorbitant pay raises has to end. Again, they need to work for us. They get the same healthcare, they get the same dental, they get the same tickets and jail time for breaking the laws they wrote or got behind. No more two justice systems.

No more parties: Abolish all partisan politics. They have a party already, their district or state, depending. This ignoring the people time and again and only working to serve the party's needs has to end. This and the money is probably the two most important things that need to happen to reign in our government and restore the way things should work.

Term limits: You do six years, you go home. That's it. This country has a lot great people to choose from, we don't need to be selecting from the bottom and keeping them there forever. They just go corrupt.

Testing: If you have to take a piss test and a battery of intelligence exams to join the army, then you need to take a basic test in order to be a rep., sen., pres., or justice. An analogy IQ exam as well as an exam to determine if they possess the basic knowledge to carry out that job. This electing people who bought their way through school and are actually not smart enough to manage a McDonalds needs to end. We've got a lot of brilliant people in the country, there's no reason we should be selecting from the bottom of the barrel just because they're 1. connected and 2. belong to one party or the other.

Vote of no confidence: This is more important until parties are abolished. If people who run do not inspire trust and confidence, or have a poor record, etc., then a vote of no confidence can be cast and if it "wins" then it's redone with new people.

And all this applies to the president and the court. With regards to the court, we need to be able to elect them. Appointing isn't working out. President is held to all the above, plus the election system is overhauled to make it more fair. One man, one vote.

I'm sure there's others but those are the ones that I think of most often that would have the greatest impact on a fair and equal government of the people, by the people and for the people. Because right now, it's most definitely not. The people who are abusing the system currently will never change or give up what they have and certainly would never settle for the above. So the best thing to do would be to make all this law in each state and force an amendment.

This would run off a lot of the current members. They can't operate in an environment like that. It'll be more like doing a job. Media will be restored because there isn't a party for them to get behind. They'll just do their jobs naturally. It's how it was supposed to work in the first place.

I could go on, but I think you get the gist. Keep on the road we're on, it's headed to death and destruction. A civil war, maybe worse. Take this other road, it won't be easy but it'll be better than war, and may be we can take our country back without firing a shot and make the whole world a better place in the process. Somehow I feel the apathy of the average American to get behind this and stick to it is it's Achille's heel though. Somehow I feel it would take a war, and even with that we'd be lucky to come out the other side with not only an intact government, but one espousing all the proper ideals.

That's my .02. I think about it a lot. I also feel it needs to benefit everyone, not just us, and the above is good for all. It equals the playing field.
