Finally received my trimmer and cant be happier. Got it set up in .223 and .308 showed up about 2wks ago. Prepping mil brass is a pita but this
should speed it up a bit.

Price is a little steep, but well worth the money. I just finished up prepping 3800+ pieces of LC .223 brass and that trimmer was a godsend. I averaged between 8-10 cases a minute with it.

Depending on how much brass is trimmed, the shavings can accumuate really quickly, so be sure to clean it out every so often. Compressed air is almost a necessity to thoroughly clean out the trimmer.

About $480 shipped.

NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NEVER, EVER use compressed air from an air compressor to blow the chips out. That is a sure fire way to have to send it back to me to change the bearings when they get contaminated.

Suck them out with a vacuum (shop vac), dump them out by gravity, brush them out with an old brush, but don't blow 100psi compressed air inside because you will only push chips under the bearing seal. I can show you several bearings that were killed prematurely by doing so. If you really have to blow, use only a prepackage can of computer cleaning air duster or your own breath.

Please read the instruction manual that is sent with each trimmer or print it out off the website if you lost the original.

Do as Doug says, NO compressed air. Not even the canned stuff for computer use.

I just rest it on the edge of the garbage can, window side down, slight the window up, and give it a couple taps on the back side. close the window and go back to work.

I think I've had mine for 8 eight years or so. Motor and bearings are as quiet as the day I got it. Still has the original belt. Still haven't had to turn a bit yet - but I think the .223 one may be due to go to it's second edge after 30k-40k rounds.
