I live up here. If they make me fear for my life, they will get dropped. I didn't tolerate the king and queen of Spain blocking the roads and sidewalks so they could walk around Seattle at snail speed sightseeing either. I ignored the cops and crossed the street and went to the federal building and to my appt. on time. They didn't like, but fuck 'em. I don't value nor recognize "special persons" unless it's for a disability or some other extenuating circumstance that would warrant it.
If Antifa draws on me or lays hands on me, it could get ugly. I don't tolerate that. I mind my own shit, I don't step on toes, and I'm very tolerant of my neighbors. It used to be tolerant here. But this new generation is having none of that tolerance shit.
Shit's gonna come apart, I don't think it'll be these fucks in Seattle though. I'm sure a harsh word and deliberate step forward would part 'em like the Red Sea. But a time is coming and we've reached a number of tipping points, so it could literally be anything that causes the next John Brown to fire the first shot.

These are the stupidest people ever to draw breath. The irony is unbelievable. Just because they have a few policy platform differences from the NSDAP does not mean they're the opposite. What differences there are get fully eclipsed by the similarities; which are striking with respect to the statism/socialism and the run amok environmentalism as a religion.
Fascism is not defined as racism and ethnocentrism. These are traits present to a greater or lesser extent in political parties who oppose these things as a matter of party platform, and are only openly present today in Islamic parties/culture and in Far Eastern parties/cultures, because they have been effectively, philosophically annihilated in the West (only in the West) as a matter of societal norms, and just as importantly (though rarely highlighted) as matter of scientific truth. However, even if what Aunt Tiffa espoused were the opposite in fact, and their policies were diametrically opposed to those of the NSDAP (which they are not), racism and ethnocentrism are a side show to the use of violence and intolerance of opposing views that is the hallmark of totalitarianism/statism/fascism.
They ARE the (only) Nazis. They ARE the (only) fascists. Yea, the KKK still exists as do American Nazis, but to say they're a tiny fringe is to overstate their power and influence. I'm sure there are counties and towns where they have a presence, but Seattle is not one of them.

It's really easy to play Communist Nazi badass and LARP with your weapons in the street when the local Communist affiliated politicians specifically tell the "police" to leave you alone, let you do whatever you want and then arrest & charge anyone that stands up to you or tries to defend themselves.

Hmmm,..Koresh was not a "crazy, cult leader". Almost all of the things said about Koresh were fabrications by the government to justify their attack on the compound and killing those people at will.
Apples to oranges. Koresh and the Branch Davidians just wanted to be left alone. They didn't go around parading with weapons, blocking travel or any of the crap ANTIFA proclaims. They were highly suspicious of the government (ever read of that here?), had a group think belief system they adhered to and intended harm to no one. Koresh was in many ways a scumbag, but he keep his ways among his followers.
We had the same type of leader up here in the 80's, his name was Gordon Kaul. Tax protester, survivalist, armed to the teeth, started of group of true believers called the Posse Comitatus. More dangerous than Koresh, he was instumental in the deaths of two Fed agents. Also distrusted the government.
Either Koresh of Kaul could have been quietly picked up by L.E. without any violence, but the Government decided it needed to make examples of them, hence their violent ends. Two more examples of major fed screw ups.
The point: Koresh and Kaul wanted to do their thing without violence or disrupting the general population. ANTIFA wishes violence, wishes to mess with the lives of people around them and appear to have the blessings of the higher powers.

Like Stryker, I am a greater Seattle native, born/raised and definitely in the minority. KIRO radio/TV is the Western Washington CBS affiliate. KIRO Radio is second only to NPR as far as being over the edge liberal. The only difference is that KIRO presents themselves as more "mainstream/commercial", which is utter hogwash. I don't have the desire to listen to this clip of Dory Monson as I have heard enough bits and pieces of his liberal schtick over the years to know that he has nothing to offer me. If there is anything that even remotely sounds intelligent or relevant coming out of his mouth, it is pure coincidence. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.....

But, I would not go so far as to say that I think he would be supportive of armed confrontation from either side. At least that's one redemptive trait that I will give him credit for.
From my perch, Antifa, or others like them arming up is specifically intended to foment/provoke violent response from the right. They are trying to bait the right. Then, once something ugly happens, the left can point to Conservatives "transgressions" and n. pelosi and pals will start the wholesale printing of new legislation that will make all bills/laws that have been passed in the past look like 3rd grade sandlot rules. In fact, how long do you think it will be before another "mass shooting" (except, this time by a "Conservative" (all staged), exacted on "Antifa" types) takes place ? My guess ? Perhaps by the end of the year, maybe by the time that the new Congress meets for the first time, but high probability that it will happen in the next 6 to 8 months.

Sadly, if that happens, it might be time to rest your beer on the bar because there won't be anybody left to hold it. I don't look forward to it, but if it goes down, there's something to be said for immediacy and follow-through. I don't like that we're getting played into a reaction, and, although it speaks volumes about our regard for order and rule of law, our lack of preventative cohesiveness is detrimental. Their fanatical organization and adherence to a game plan will carry the day, most likely within the time frame you suggest.

We Conservatives really need cohesive strategists for leaders. People like Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell ain't it. The left have done a very good job of funding, strategizing, coordinating and thinking 3, 4, 5 steps ahead of us. It is time for that to change. I don't really know how to make that happen, but am looking forward to helping those leaders with patriotism in their hearts move us forward.
