I’ve got a trued and blue printed Rem 700 that was built by Bart Baldwin (Baldwin Gunworks). This is likely the most accurate rifle I own. I’ve just got to thin the collection a bit and this barreled action is on the list.
Bartlien barrel finished at 24”, Remington sendero/varmint contour with 1:7.7 twist. 776 rounds fired (mostly factory ammo).
This rifle loves 80 grain Berger VLD bullets (I have a load to share) and also shoots Prime and Norma factory 77 grain ammo in the .1’s and .2’s.
I’ve successfully shot this rifle to 1050 yds.
I can include a factory trigger, if you need one (I will be keeping my Diamond that’s in it. I’m also keeping the hellfire brake. It will come with a thread cap (1/2”x28). The stock is already sold, this is for barreled action only.
