This can easily switch between a Clip On, Scope, or Monocular. With the appropriate eyepiece attached the rattler automatically switches to a mono/scope or clip on based on the eye piece that is attached.

There isn’t a max magnification per se.

There will be a point of diminishing returns if using too high of a magnification as the quality of the image will degrade.

I personally like to stay around 5-10x as this provides the best image.

If using as a standalone it does have digital zoom up to 8x as well.
