For sale is a build kit for a DARPA XM-3. Included is the following (Note - I’m only planning to sell this as a package):
- McMillan A1-3. I measured the placement of the inlet for the front rail and studs / swivels according to my XM-3 from the CMP, and had McMillan follow this (beleive it or not, I’ve seen these things installed / inlet way off on clones). I’ll provide a copy of my McMillan build sheet if you are interested in additional details.
- Hart barrel blank, cut and contoured to the XM-3 spec
- Remington stainless steel short action. The serial number starts with S65395##. It’s right in the sweet spot for a serial number, and less than 60 off from an XM-3 that recently sold on CMP.
- Surefire flash hider
- Turner saddlery sling
- Badger M4 bottom metal
- Magazine box and follower (lost the spring, but they’re easy to find)
- Badger tactical bolt knob
- Badger scope rail (1005-306-06 UX). The XM-3’s used a titanium rail that was “cloned” off of this badger rail, so it’s close but finding a titanium IBA rail is near impossible
- Titanium recoil lug
- Front EFR. This is a clone of the actual rail (compared it to my XM-3 and it’s spot on), other than not being marked.
I also have a mil spec NF 3.5-15 and NF low rings that I’d consider parting with for an additional cost if you buy the kit (not willing to sell separate at this time).
$5,075 shipped via UPS to your FFL. Just an FYI - I’m planning to list this on GB as well (with a slight premium to cover those fees).
