This came off a new older E series action Remington 308 Police rifle. This is new and kicked the project to the curb as I did not feel like finishing it. What you see on the barreled action is oil as I cleaned and wiped the barrel action down when I took it out of the stock. Comes with the original trigger and action screws. The barrel on this is 26 inches long.

Just wondering, is the barrel threaded 5/8x24? I was given an older E prefix 700 like this in a HS stock with a threaded barrel and what looks like the same aluminum thread protector. It's not 5/8x24 though, and I don't have a thread gauge.

Honestly I do not know. When I buy stuff that may be threaded I never ask as I do not use a suppressor. I guess maybe a call to Remington might help or somebody else that has another.
