So what’s the deal with factory seconds? Is their a performance difference ???

From what I've noticed they have a bit more weight variance but still like within a couple grains and sometimes a couple have the tips a different color or may be broken off. I shot a couple hundred of em and can still pull .25-.5" groups @1-200 yards. I wouldn't compete with them but they are definitely a nice alternative for "plinking".
