For sale is a super nice Sako L579 243 varmint with a 24 inch barrel that is stamped Bofors Steel on 1 side. The bluing on this rifle is like new and the stock is in excellent shape for its age. Their are a few impressions in the stock and 1 of them seen in the picture is in the checkering in the forarm and it has a decent piece of wood on it. I bought this from a fellow selling off some of his Sako,s and was told it has been shot very little. With out a doubt it has spent 99% of the time sitting idle in the safe as the condition reflects it. I have not fired the rifle the time I have had it and as pictured it will come with the 1 inch rings and bases.

975.00 to your FFL from private owner plus 40.00 for shipping & insurance on the rifle

I was asked how old the rifle is and I do not know the exact date. I do know they stopped using the Bofors Steel stamp on the barrel in 1968. So the rifle is over 50 years old and you would not know it from its condition. The bluing is mint and you might find another with some better figure on the stock.
