That old stuff? Here's the truth of the matter. Much of the armed forces comes from what I like to call 'Corn Bread America'. That is the part of America where Patriotism is the most untalked about thing, but the most reverent beleif. They will never take arms against their own, and for the most part, will stand in line for combat issue, stand in line for all issue to take to fight the populace, then melt into that same populace to fight against the tyrannical government.
Sure many took that same oathe and many truly belive in it. They also believe that when the government comes to the point of wanting that mission done, it is time to react.
It will never happen unless the SHTF, then it will be intresting to say the least.
Will the only ones who go home with all their kit be Cornbread Joe, or will Ghetto Jean, Barrio Juan, and Noodle Yoshi do the same? Me, I truly believe that only a very small percentage would actually try to follow those kinds of orders and the only recourse for Big Bro would be to call in Intwerpol or the UN to try then it will really hit the fan
