Im using CRC brake cleaner non chlorinated, it evaporates pretty quick. I thought about draining my tank every time Im done. What else are you guys using? Im in a smaller garage and not sure about fumes and such as im running a torch and other things.

Thanks guys,
Kc

Lacquer thinner is ok, and i've used it for Bulk clean up, then acetone as a final wipe over to 'kill' any left over Cerakote. I find that thinners leaves some stickyness behind.

If it's a small job out of my small gun i'll just use paper towels to soak up and wipe up whatever is in the pot of the gun, then acetone wiped and washed over and through the spray gun.

I use acetone and buy it by the barrel but evaporation was killing me. I use a stainless hot blue tank and lid from brownell's to soak the parts and evaporation isn't very bad. I'm gonna try the brake cleaner in the spray gun washer, hope it doesn't eat the tank.
