SOPMOD Bipod

The last thread here is a bit old, so I don't want to resurrect it.

Just wanted to know some inputs on it from people who have used it.

I like those claws, they look like, they would grab dirt pretty good.

For shooting from a bench (I don't shoot prone all the time) I guess I'll just have to use a bag and fold the bipod away? I'm not sure how well those claws would work on a concrete/wood bench. lol...

I think Seekins exclusively uses them.

I'm not looking for a pretty bipod. I want something that'll work and won't break on me.

Anyways, some input is appreciated!

The claws only work on dirt and stuff thats not hard. They are perfect in grass and super soft areas where other bipods dig a hole. The claws stay put


Whats a bench for besides sticking your gear on that your not using

I wonder if you could use some thick carpeting for bench shooting and let the claws dig in?

A bench is great when I wanna shoot groups on paper and I'm too lazy and don't wanna get dirty. Haha

I prefer to shoot off the earth. It does not move.
