I have a set of the MSA Sordin Pro X and love them. Every once in a while they will bump the stock but all-in-all they've been great.

I have a set of the regular over the top of the head version, and I have not had any issues shooting my .308 in an McM A1 stock from the prone or bench.

I have the over the head version as well and havent had any issues with them and stocks. I have had issues with getting a headache from them after wearing them for an extended period. I also have the gel earcups on them.

Over the head type.

And we need to shoot together again! I remember that we talked about bolt guns briefly at the carbine course. Maybe we can hit up a long range shoot some time? I'd like to see that GAP rifle in person.

Over the head type on my A5 is not a problem and +1 on the get the gel cups, nice upgrade.

+1 on the gel cups, especially if you shoot with glasses or sunglasses on.
