So when I wandered online to Brownell's tonight and found it there, I put 10 in the cart and checked out for $75/50 brass. I'm not sure I believe it will be delivered. But it it is, this means that if you look consistently you shall find, and the price is not that bad...

Well I got all smug prematurely. They only had 2 in stock.

Then I ordered a bunch from hunting4less - same thing - they emailed and said sorry not in stock.

Nosler.com has them at the factory available they say 25 boxes. I just ordered 5. They're $90 a box which I thought was insane but....

I see that product number 10230 is marked on several retailer websites as discontinued. They're all listing a new 25 count box with a retail of $66 (see Midway). If that's true, the new price of this brass is going to be over $2 a case. Wowza.

Does anybody know anything more about this? If it's true, I might just buy some more at the insane price of $90 a box...

This whole predicament is just silly

I keep looking for an excuse to buy a 338, most likely a DTA SRS....but it just seems like it doesn't offer anything that a 300 RUM and a 375 CT don't offer....

If you can convince me, I'll start working on the wife...

I got the reply from hunting4less.com they said teh 10230 part number is discontinued and is now being replaced by the 25 piece box which indeed retails for $60. so that's over $2 per piece for this brass.

Nosler website lists 20 boxes of the 50 piece in stock for $90 and 20 boxes of the 25 piece in stock for $70.

If you want RUM brass, I'd get some now before the 10230 is all gone.
