What are some the preferred sources for a savage small shank prefit? Currently looking for a 25"-26" 260 rem.

Northland Shooters Supply and a CBI (Criterion) barrel is a good place to start.

I bought a couple barrels, nut, lug and wrench from them, EXCELLENT SERVICE, EXCELLENT PRODUCTS!!!

Same here or Southern Precision Rifles. They use Bartlein cut rifle blanks for their savage pre-fits. Very reasonable cost too, lat time I checked.

I have had good luck with several Criterion barrels from NSS. All have been around half moa with a little load development. They might do better with a better trigger puller running the gun. James at NSS has taken the time to talk with me about options. He seems to be stand-up guy.
