Well I got back from Spartan Precision yesterday and I can’t wait to take my rifle home next week. I have to say I’ve never seen anyone with the attention to detail that Marc has with anything in my life. He spent over 2 hrs showing me how he spins his barrels and trues his actions.... this is coming from somebody who is just getting into custom rifles, and I literally couldn’t believe how much detail work goes into every step. When you are taking the CNC process out to the .001 on every cut you start to truly appreciate what a great gunsmith can do. I really appreciated the patience he had in explaining everything he was doing to my barrel and action (half the technical talk went over my head) but I walked out the door extremely impressed. After my stock is bedded I’ll be headed down there to pick up my 28nosler. I have no doubt if the rifle doesn’t shoot it’s because of me and not the rifle.... I’ll report back with pictures and target!!
