Looks like a chase scene from a James Bond film. Definitely looks like a blast, would hope my hot chick would be waiting on me with a Martini beside my Aston Martin DBS. Life would then be complete.

been there to Wengen and done some non-speedfly canopy work there. That whole area & place is Nothing but spectacular and beautiful, can't even verbally describe how nice it is there for the outdoors fun-seekers . That whole area from Lauterbrunnen valley and the Eiger is fantastic & should be at least travel to once in your life .
Anybody not familiar with these little wings. Those speedfly canopies are pretty ground hungry little fuckers too. They are a small Paraglide in design but very agile and flight efficient, able to Soar in very high winds that the normal Paraglide canopy will not even touch .
The No-wind sled-rides on down-hill grades with these little canopies are nothing but 'Fast' . Then you take the high performance sled-rides. Throw on a pair of skies. Take it all to the Alps and Boom. You are speedflying to the ultimate degree .
Got to have a lot of respect for the pilots in the Vid. also. They make it look way to easy.

Yeah, that looks like a blast. Can't help but think though, at that one particular "high-speed-pass" through the small 'cleft' in the rocks,,,, all it would take is a cross-draft, and splat.

Skydiving by itself is a fairly safe sport. Most injury is caused by poor landings.
Intentionally flying low to the ground or close to obstructions is asking for trouble because the novelty wears off. So hook turns, low to the ground are added, diving riser turns, etc. Sooner or later it all turns out bad.
Para-gliding has enough injuries by itself and the intent of it is to soar, i.e. separate yourself from the ground. Generally speaking no pilot ever conducts flight in a aircraft at treetop levels or intentionally buzzes mountains, trees, etc.
Nevertheless it's a interesting video.

ahhh, hell.. I just found a way to break my other femur (yep, 8 ago I got bit by a sno snake speed skiing, rag doll)!! Guess I need to take some gliding lessons! I like the pretty nurses trying to get my gear off.. See my sig line.. yep, gonna have to try that!

I like Switzerland. I like flying. Sign me up right now. I'd do that in a heartbeat. I wouldn't make the pass through that narrow gap between the mountain and the huge rock, but I would definitely do that.
