looking at buying a stripped lower an was thinking about the spikes tactical lowers.. looking for some input on these lowers

or you could go with a set of match upper and lower from spikes? they are good people. whatever it is your looking for call them and they can help you out

Ditto... What exactly are you looking for? Either way, it's hard to go wrong with Spikes. They have great quality, top notch material, awesome customer service.

I have and use a Spikes upper and lower. I dont know if your going to buy one stripped or complete. I have a Geiselle trigger in mine and its held up to all the training regiments and even a few days at TDI in Adams Co. Ohio. no problems.

I have a Spikes lower on my AR I built last year. I have a Rock River Arms Upper and RRA chromed lined 1:9 twist barrel. You cant go wrong with Spikes.

^^^ This is correct. It always cracks me up when someone raves about their Spikes lower and then goes on to bash a Bushy or DPMS lower. Must be the spider...
Aero makes their own lower, to my knowledge they only make them as Aero branded product. They are actually a Boeing subcontractor; I assume their production of AR components is to take advantage of excess machining capacity, although I don’t know that for a fact.
FWIW: I've built several ARs with Aero lowers and/or uppers and have been very happy with their product. The machining is absolutely the best I’ve encountered and the fit between their upper and lower is excellent, essentially no slop. The only downside to their product is that the anodizing seems to be a little thinner than others I’ve used but you can’t beat their product for the price. I have builds on DPMS and Spikes lowers as well. All are GTG in my experience, I usually just buy whichever I can get for the best price at the time.

Spikes lowers are just fine, I have a couple and they work as well as any of the others I have had. I'm not sure who currently makes their lowers, they have had more than one supplier over the years, sometimes more than one at the same time (one of which was Aero, at least at one point).

Spike's stuff is good to go. I have a lower and upper receiver from them. Fit and finish is great. I'd use them again.
