LOL! Airsoft pays because it caters to the only demographic left that has any spending money.

Nothing wrong with airsoft. I practice all my Glock pistol drills with airsoft in my back yard. heck them new airsofts are identical in weight and controls to a real gun. rifle shooting thou, is another story. Nothing beats range time.

If i still lived with my buddies (back in the day), it would be room clearing and ambushes all the time. Spotlighted and shot to the head. The old suction cup guns were fun but follow up shots took some time.
