Question: How many people care whether the NBA plays or not?

I wouldn't have walked across the street to see an NBA game, if the tickets were free, unless it were to scalp the tickets. Next question: who cares what a basketball player has to say about anything? And as much as I enjoy baseball, I may need to divorce them too. NFL is long gone.

People are still willing to pay them millions to play a game...and until there is no revenue there will continue to be a heightened sense of self importance that comes with being a millionaire.

I used to only watch college athletes for quite some time due to this...but now the disease of failing to stay in their lane has caught on there too.

Fortunately I still have Porn Hub...open mouths get stuff shoved in them there...

Yep. All the team and stadium owners are losing untold number of millions of dollars with this particular walkout during these playoffs. I personally give less than a fuck. I give all my friends shit all the time that "can't wait for sports".
 
I happened to see a clip of a major league baseball game on the news the other night. Stadium was empty.

What year did sports actually end in America before the liberals infected it , I believe they changed course at some point from carrying on great traditions and players to promoting political ideology of the left. " Men" were they were Men played the game until Owners decide to hang up the rainbow flag drafting Lady Boys . Its just entertainment now a days but why aren't they wearing clown suits to make us laugh more ???

while I agree in not wanting to support pro players or the organizations that pay them I will can not deny the game its self is not to blame , the game did not pay the blm and antifa to burn cities , homes and businesses the game did not pay antifa and the blm to kill children and cops players and the organizations did along with so many business and tech companies who will no doubt not be forced to clean up any of the mess they helped make . I almost wish they all had to go and find normal paying jobs to make there living from it would be a good laugh at foolish people . protesting an injustace is a good thing burning , looting and robbing , and killing is not and its not protesting .

Not to derail the thread, but just today it was announced that the NHL is shutting down because there are 2 (two) players that are "not white" and 'they gotta show support'.....

We used to be a bit of a 'hockey family'..... now that's gone too.

Political Correctness can bite-my-ass....
 
I have to wonder if the NBA's anti Americanism is at some level due to their ties with China. Every time a company goes "woke" the question to me is "what are they trying to hide."

These woke athletes had no trouble playing when the NBA was taking parts in camps with the Chinese Government, they didn't say anything. The abuse at these camps while terrible is actually really mild compared to other things they do like camps to persecute Muslims, totalitarianism around Christanity and even harvesting organs from healthy people to sell. That doesn't say shit about what they're doing to Hong Kong or them proping up the Norkies who would have collapsed otherwise.

At the same time to claim America is a horrible place when so many of them went from rags to riches is utter absurdity. Lebron is worth over 1/4 BILLION dollars, grew up in poverty and yet claims America is terrible? Give me a break. What a whiny bitch who only has shit to say when the hands that feed him tell him to.

Kap is worse, at least Lebron entertains people. Kap started sucking so he became a grifter.

I used to really be into basketball. Then in 1987 I graduated high school........ I have never understood the monumental waste of time and money folks will put into watching people nothing like them play a "sport" I couldn't tell you who has won a major championship in any sport and couldn't care less.

The NHL was my last best hope. The NBA, as far as I’m concerned, can drop off the face of the earth, and I wouldn’t notice. But I love watching the NFL, and occasional baseball game. NASCAR? Meh.... But Hockey seemed to keep their heads on straight...until this. I’m done with all profesional sports. The NHL and go choke on their Sir Stanley Cup.
