Hi Guys ,

So I remember back in the day , USO made a Spotter with a reticle in it , and they talked about making a version of it with a integral LRF , and I think they made at least one prototype , but as far as I know never made it available .
With all these new WMLRF coming out , has any one thought of mounting one to a Spotter scope , and zeroing it to the reticle ?
Seems it would be a good fit .

Later Chris

To actually answer OP, yes, Hensoldt currently makes one but they are mil-only and probably a million dollars.

Doesn't Newcon have one?
They did, not sure currently. I bought one and thought it was shit. A well known vendor was nice enough to take it back. Pretty sure I posted some kind of review here years ago.

Hensoldt spotter 45 or 60 with Badger’s slick cage with a lrf is a better optical system, but very bulky.

Nightforce cfs with the cage is a much more ergonomic system but I personally think the reticle setup defeats the point of the cage as a mounting system for a lrf. (Because the reticle is in the bottom half of the field of view, so you have to co-align the lrf to an unmarked point 3” above the top of the vertical post at 100 yds.)
