Rifle Scopes SPOTTING SCOPES

This is about two different brands of spotting scoes.Bushnell and Baush&Lomb. I know Bushnell bought the Elite line of rifle scopes from Baush&lomb. But what about the spotting scopes. They both have a Elite line of spotting scopes. I believe the Bushnell line is more expensive from what I could tell on the enternet. So I was wondering if any one knew which one has the better optics or are they equal? Just wondering because I am shopping around for a spotting scope.

I believe all the new B&L scopes are marketed under the Bushnell name.

The price difference probably accounts for similar B&L models being older versions.
