I can't decide what rail length to put on my 18" SPR build. It'll be the noveske nsr rail, should I go with 15" or 16.7"?

I like the way rails look when they go all the way down the barrel, but 16.7" is friggin long. Also I'm gonna have an adjustable (from the front) gas block on a rifle length system. Not sure how much of a pain that will be with the longer rail.

I went with a 13" Geissele Mk4 on the build I am collecting parts for. Would have loved to go longer, but I want easier access to the adjustable gas block ill be running since ill be running suppressed and unsuppressed and want optimal function with both. Ill be running a JP lightweight carrier and captured spring setup so I think having the gas adjusted just right will be critical to function.

Larue 13.2 Lite Rail On my 20" SPR and Looks Functions GREAT! Key Mods are all the new Rage but I'm old school that way. Like my pic rails machined in and not worrying about anything falling off from Heat or screws backing out.

My WOA SPR has an 18" SS barrel. I replaced the 12" DD quad rail that it originally had with a 12" PRI 3rd Gen FF tube. It has the full top rail @ 12 o'clock and the very short rails @ 3, 6, & 9 o'clock. This gives me all the rail I need without making the front end of the rifle feel like a boat-anchor. It shoots and handles great.

Wilson actually included the longest Allen wrench I've ever seen with the block. I can adjust it with a standard one, but nice to know I could adjust a carbine length gas set up with this rail if I wanted too...
