Springfield 2020 barrel

They are a screw in barrel IIRC , so would probably need to be machined to fit , it would be nice if they were all timed the same and prefit could be made for them , ,,,,,,,,they do use a modified cone breech so a barrel nut but could be used 🤔,

I just started playing with one and just finished making a barrel for one. Was kind of a pain because it's metric and my lathe won't do metric threads. Eventually planning on getting a CNC lathe but for now manual.

I just finished threading the muzzle and crowning it earlier tonight. Hopefully this weekend I will get to try it out.

If you are having accuracy issues, check to see if the rounds are getting shaved when feeding. A friend has one and shot BAD!!!!!! So I went out with him one day and was watching him shoot. I could not see him making any bad issues when shooting. As I was standing there talking to him I looked down into the gun and there were slivers all over in the action.

It was shaving the bullets asit fed into the action. So I had him single load by dropping the round into the chamber. He shot 1/2" groups over and over. So now we are going to have to fix the issue. but We have not met back up to actually what can be done. I told him the easiest would be a single shot feeder.

Editing a new version since they took it down. I have a small gun shop and like to make barrels for people. The only reason I do youtube is to try to grow that.

Making a new video that hopefully doesn't get me in trouble. have to remove my website logo and take out the stuff about how we are giving away one of those spring 2020s.
