Springfield Armory M1A Production Cycle

Hey guys, Went to a local gun shop the other day to get a price on a SA NM M1A and a Super Match M1A. The guy told me that Springfield Armory was out of Stock and all other dealers were out. He told me that it would be about 5 to 6 months before they would be able to get one. Claimed that they cycle there production based on demand. Sounded right but I was just wanting a second opinion or some input. Anybody heard of this.

I don't know anything about their production schedules, but I do know that locally there are plenty on the shelves.

buddy of mine picked up a super match with the camo stock from the local shop last week.
