Darn...did I miss a match announcement???

You must have got the match done before all that rain arrived?

I was eyeing a visit to our Odessa range to do some more SKS firelapping, and do a "half match" try with the Rem700 308Win F-T/R rifle to rid the bore of the dust bunnies.

The sunshine arrived waaay too late for any of that.

Re: Springwater NY, July 25th F-Class Results

Copied from their web site a while back; July 25th, August 29th, Sept 26th, Oct 17th. Woody update the list if I have anything wrong.

There was a "Wounded Warrior" Match at Rochester Brooks on Sunday too, all proceeds raised went to a great cause. They raised thousands. It was supposed to be a 100yd bench, 50 yd rapid fire 30 rds/30sec and a pistol and clay match. Upon arrival I was informed they changed it to a "off hand" match so they wouldn't have to measure tiny groups. WTF?? It was a real bit*h trying to shoot at 100yds, no sling, with a 12lb rifle. if I had known, I'd brought an AR. oh well...money donated just the same.

after the performance the "Blue Laser" put on at thier last match, maybe they think Odessa shooters are too good for them
maybe shooters from Odessa are "personna non grata"
the scores from the "Dark Eagle" match should get any ones attention
How about a team competition between the two clubs???
a western New York 200 yard championship????

Naw... none of the above. Just a guy with a busy schedule forgot to post it. As for the "Blue Laser" heck thats a $3000 benchrest rifle, look what Woody did with a $900 stock Remington 700LTR scored a 198-31x, that's two points from the Blue Laser.

"personna non grata" again I'm not feeling it. 40% of the shooters attend both club events, we one big happy family.

But heck yea.....200yd Western NY Championship. I like that idea. But only if it includes food & beers afterwards.

Re: Springwater NY, July 25th F-Class Results

hope everyone took the personna non grata as a little friendly ribbing cause thats the way it was meant
i like the idea of the refreshments after the proposed matches
maybe one match at springwater, one at odessa, and the team with the highest agg shoots at home for the rubber match
5 member teams????
maybe i better talk to STP and Woody next
