Rifle Scopes Spuhr SP 4006 mounting

Just bought a Spuhr SP-4006 and will be mounting everything up shortly. For those of you that have Spuhr mounts, have any of you seen ring marks after removing your scope from the mount ? I'm not really hung up over it, but if I end up selling the scope down the road, resale value takes a hit if there are ring marks. I'd like to avoid that if possible.

I had a Vortex Razor Gen II 4.5-27x56 mounted in a Spuhr SP-4001. The scope was mounted as the supplied specs suggested. I've since removed the scope from the mount, and no ring marks were visible.

No, I didn't use any powdered rosin for my application. The scope was mounted to a braked 6x47 Lapua.

I have a few SP-4006's and a few QDP-4002's and I have not seen any marks on the scopes I have used them with.

No ring marks from my Spuhr mount. In most cases light ring marks don't cost you very much when it comes to resale...to me it is not a big deal..Ray
