It will land there but you won't win any awards for great groups. If you're going out to the range for the hell of it I'd give it a try but if you're paying for a precision rifle class I might think twice about it or bring a different rifle w/more barrel for the 1k yard line.

At 1k, the shooter becomes arguably more important than the rifle being used....that said, I'd only trust a select few .308 16" gas guns to get this job with any kinda high hit percentages.
I wouldn't ever box yourself in with a rifle that you happened to own, especially one with a much potential/ability as a KAC rifle. Lots of shit is possible when you stop wondering, and start shooting I've found
You can't get much closer to the ECC than a MWS 16"...here are few times out to 1k with it if you wanna check them out.

Damn, Trident. Nice shooting!! I just picked up an ECC myself, but will sadly will never be able to test it at anywhere near the ranges that you were shooting at in that vid. The ECC sure is a light (for a AR 308) sum bitch tho.

I ran mine during a Magpul Dynamics PR class. I had no trouble with hits out to 1000y.
