I am about to purchase some sr25 stuff and I am wondering which models have been the most accurate over the years.
The precision rifle list a 5r match barrel but the precision carbine just lost a 5r barrel is it a “match” barrel?

Consistently the models that I’ve sampled like the Light Weight Match, the later ER, and the 16” EC have all been the tightest. ECR’s, however the fit into the production line with the M110, have been a bit more varying. All Knight’s models are capable barrels, even the newer gen ones in lighter contours. But if you wanting tight tight groups, the older gen fat barrels from 10 years ago and around that era will be your best bet. I know the even older models with the 24” barrels are highly regarded as well. I’ve just never had the opportunity to shoot any for myself.

My Mk11 (EMR) is .75 to 1.25 MOA with the can on depending on what kind of day I’m having.

My ACC is 1.5ish but only has 400 rounds on it or so. The SS barreled guns (APC, APR, etc) are said to be .75-1MOA new and improve by .1-.2 or so after ~500 rounds.

I had an LWM and now have a PC. I think the PC is @ as accurate but the LWM has a heavier barrel and allows you to hammer away and not have rounds walk due to heat.

    Mike,

Can you scooch that right factory target over a little? I want to see your velocity data for that 44.1 Reloder15 load. That was the spec for m118lr back in ‘08. I still like seeing data from that era.
