So I have done search after search on both the hide and the googlenator, and can't really seem to find any long term use reviews on the XL Ti. I know that the reviews have all said it's a great can, but im looking for someone who has some time under their belt with the can. How has it held up? Any issues? Would you buy it again if given the chance? Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Most of the info on the can seems to be a few years old and im just curious if opinions
have changed.

Thanks,
Nick

Nick, I don't have more than 30 rounds down range through my Shadow XL Ti, but my experience so far has been quite nice. As with my SRT Cheyenne XXL and my Hurricane XL Ti, the Shadow is well built with a simple look. The workmanship appears first rate. After zeroing my 18in barrel sans can and factory ammo, I experienced absolutely no POI shift at 100m with the Shadow screwed on. Time will tell how it holds up. I have a few more rounds through the Cheyenne. It is amazingly quite. I will gladly trade the extra length for noise suppression. And the folks that have heard it, compared theirs to it and then ordered one. I would purchase any and all of the SRT cans again and recommend SRT without hesitation. Good luck and let me know what you decide.

Thanks for the info Rancilio! I actually have already purchased the can directly from Doug about a month ago. He seemed like a nice guy to deal with, and once my stamp arrives, I can just go grab it in Camp Verde. With all of the reviews, or lack there of comparatively speaking to some of the other manufacturers, I was a little hesitant to jump right in to the XL Ti. This is my first can and will live on a modded sps aac in .308, atlas, acis, NF NPR1 scope... the usual bolt ons. I went the trust route, so we'll have to see how things pan ou, but im expecting a 10 month wait anyway so if it happens faster, then awesome. You dont happen to have any video of you shooting the XL do you? Not a whole lot of video out there on it (I know the videos aren't a good idea of how it actually sounds for various reasons, but just curious).

Thanks again for the info!

I have extensive experience with this can... literally killing hundreds of coyotes with them, and putting thousands of rounds down ours... using them on our LR platforms out to 2K... IMHO one of the best cans I've ran, hands down... as a matter of fact I remember the first time I ever heard one years ago, and it had my full attention after the first round, since then, I've been working with Doug Melton, and using the majority of his products for our hunting and filming... here is a quick vid we put together running the Shadow XL Ti out to 1150yds...

I have SRT arms Shadow XL Ti . Have over 1K rounds thru it. I had Doug cut down the barrel on my TRG and rethread it so I can use on that 308 too.

The design of the Shadow will allow it to be disassembled easily by Doug should it need to be serviced. Doug told me to not be concerned about cleaning, he said if accuracy deteriored at any point to send it to him to service.

I did weight the suppressor when new on a scale at fedex and at some point will reweight to see if it's gain or lost weight or stated the sam
