Just wondering if any have ever come across custom action (Pierce, Lawton, Stiller, Surgeon, etc) comparisons pitting a single shot design against a similar repeater? How much more accurate are the single shot actions? Would it require an extremely skilled marksman to realize any accuracy benefit or would most "decent" (say 1/2 MOA @ 100yd) shooters print smaller groups?

In my opinion, you would not see any difference unless you were shooting in a benchrest competition. Todays actions are very good either way.
