Rifle Scopes SS16x vs Sightron 16x

I did a lot of searching on the Sightron and didn't find much. Is there a reason they aren't popular? I guess they are on sale for $379.00

I have a SS 10X and its ok but the turrents sometimes slip on readings. The SS scopes have Mils now which I would like to try. One thing about the SS16X I got from a good source is is it washes out in low light conditions.

There was a couple of shooters who think the Sightron is much better quality.

Maybe Sightron is closing out the mil-dot/mil hash marks for all mil?

You can still get 'em, just have to pay a little more.
