I am thinking about getting a SSG 3000. I have read all I can find on the net about them and now would like to hear from people who have had some time behind them. I would like the good and the bad , the strengths and weaknesses. I would also like to know why you feel the way you do. Some questions I have are : How are they bedded in the Mcmillan stocks , are they just inleted and bolted in or are they bedded some how? How are the triggers , is it a quality trigger in terms of feel (keeping in mind my primary rifle is a TRG22)? What type of accuracy are they on average and with what ammo (I handload)? Anything else that you may feel is important. Thanks for your time.

I lusted over one of these for the longest time. Finally got to hold one in a shop one time. The stock felt awful to me, just didn't fit me at all. Now I have a TRG which is lovely. I still would like to have one, maybe re-stock it. The barrels are quite high if I remember (1k or so), because I think they have an AR style barrel extension on them. But I could be confusing it with the Sig STR.
