I'm going to build another varmint bull barrel AR and was wondering if anybody has used the Stag 6H uppers?

In the past I have used DPMS for 4 builds and every one of them has shot MOA or better. I used a J&T kit once with lack luster results, it shot around 1.5 MOA.

Should I just stay with DPMS or is the going to be Stag better?

I won't be keeping the gun for long and yes there are better and more expensive options out there. When I sell this one, as I have with the other builds I have done, I can afford the nicer more expensive stuff for myself.

There just seems to be very little info on the 6H uppers.

Re: Stag 6H upper

I have had great luck out of DPMS hb uppers. My dad has a Stag 6L (left hand) and it shoots really well. All of the aforementioned uppers that I have had experience with were very easy to work up a load that would shoot around .5" @ 100yds with handloads running 55gr Vmax and 69gr SMK's.

I cant speak to which one would be better, but I wouldnt hesitate to use either brand. I honestly have been blown away by all the Stag and DPMS 223/556 heavy barreled uppers that I have used. YMMV....
