just got my model 3 in and took it to the range with some 55gr umc fmj shot somewhat decent at 100yds, a budy of mine gave me some 55gr hp, and some 55gr bt they shot a little better but still nothing to brag about, was wondering what you other stag owners shoot and how does it group at 100yds

Re: stag arms model 3 bullet weights

I don't own one, but the ones I have shot were capable of 2MOA out of the box, with irons, a half-decent operator, using ammo of that quality.

As for bullet weight...the Model 3 units have 1:9 twist barrels IIRC, so they should be fine with bullets up to approx. 68-69gr. Not all barrels were created equally, so YMMV with heavier bullets from your rifle, but at a minimum, you should get good results with quality ammo from 52-62gr without any troubles at all.
