The group by through gun shack has caught my eye as i am looking for a varmint contour 308 barrel for my Stevens below. Next week i will have a B&C Medalist stock on it and need a varmint barrel. How will the stainless barrel look? How will the ER Shaw be for $158 brand new? Thanks for any tips.

I for one don't mind the look of a stainless barrel on a blurred action. If you decide you don't like it you can always paint it. Sorry, I have no experience with those barrels.

Ok, would you guys pay $150 for a stock Savage heavy barrel or $150 for an ER Shaw barrel? Both would be new. Just looking to see which would be the better barrel? Thanks
