Hey folks, I absolutely love how clean my cases get when I stainless tumble. My case mouths get all chewed up and I have to clean them up and chamfer them again.
Does ultra sonic cleaning get the primer pockets and necks clean? Really tired of cleaning up my case necks every time.

Yeah, wet tumbling with SS pins DOES tend to do that. But, have you tried different things to mitigate that? Like increasing the amount of SS pins in the tumbler and/or a smaller number of cases at a time and/or cutting down on the tumbling time using very hot water??? When I started doing the latter, I can get my cases really clean and shiny in 1/2 hr of wet tumbling and I've found the mouths edges still get peened, but not near as bad as before. Though it's really not an issue for me since I always trim my cases with a Giraud as the last step in my case preping.

Hmm, thanks. I really cant use the powered trimmers since I have a weird 6.5x45 somehwat Ackley Improved cartridge.
Are there powered case trimmers that trim and chamfer and dont depend on the shoulder to space it properly?

Yes.

I can't think of them just now, except for how different people have set up an RCBS Trim Pro or a Forster Case Mouth Cutter. . . oh, and there's the Henderson Gen 2 Case Trimmer (uses the Forster cutter).
