"standard" trigger in AR's Single or Two stage?

I just heard someone say a typical AR, with "standard" trigger, or a LPK, the trigger is actually a two stage- just so bad it seems like a single stage...

I guess I've always assumed it was a single stage; so which is it?

A standard lpk comes with a single stage trigger..some rock river lpks are available w their national match 2 stage

Typical Mil-Spec AR has a single stage trigger. Unless we are talking about varmint models.

Yeah, that's exactly what I thought- So sure was I that I emailed a couple companies; Spikes got back and said they use typically use standard mil-spec single stage triggers.
